OUT-PATIENT ALCOHOL/DRUG PROGRAM
BUCKEYE COUNSELING
The outpatient program offered by our agency has been developed with the needs of both the individual and family in mind. Alcoholism and drug dependency affects all concerned. By implementing essential guidelines for recovery, our program gives the client an opportunity to return to life’s mainstream without the chemical addiction previously present.
The Substance Abuse Program format includes lectures, group discussions, videos and workbooks. The program is facilitated by a chemical dependency counselor or a licensed social worker certified by the State of Ohio. The groups focus on identifying the meaning of recovery for the individual within the community, defining and establishing an active program of recovery, and developing a relapse prevention program.
Each client will be given an initial assessment with results forwarded to the supervising authority. In addition to Substance Abuse Programming, clients may attend our Anger Management group. All supervising authorities will receive monthly progress reports on the client’s progress.
