PROGRAMS

MULTIPLE OFFENDER PROGRAM

Clients that have 3 or more alcohol related driving offenses are entered into the Multiple Offender Program. These clients focus on education about alcohol abuse, dependency, and recovery. Each client will be required to attend group sessions, individual sessions, and in-house AA groups.

Many of these clients are required to stay for a minimum of 30 days and the average stay is 90 days. The clients are usually at CTC in lieu of jail and therefore do not leave the facility for any reason. Those eligible for the work release program will be assisted in obtaining employment.

Clients are also eligible to receive the many other benefits and services available. The client’s needs are assessed during their initial intake. They are then placed in the proper programming group and referrals are made for any other necessary requirements.

TRANSITIONAL CONTROL

The primary purpose if the Transitional Control Program is to provide the client with opportunities to obtain education, employment and transition from prison to the community. Each client works through the various phases of the program and uses the services of CTC and the community. The program focuses on rehabilitation and establishing productivity and responsibility on the community.

Clients that show positive behavior changes and productivity could become eligible for Electronic Monitoring. They must be in compliance with CTC and APA programming rules, be employed a minimum of 32 hours per week or involved in full time education, and report to CTC once a week during the rest of their sentence.

APA & COUNTY PROBATION AND PAROLE

County probation and parole violators can be sanctioned to complete the CTC program. Many of these clients are required to stay for a minimum of 30 days and the average stay is 90 days.

The supervising authority will receive monthly progress reports. Clients will be eligible to work, perform community service, and be enrolled in the many programs and services offered at CTC. CTC staff will enforce any sanctions ordered by the supervising authority.
